Imugi -  Korean folk mythology states that most dragons were originally Imugis (이무기), or lesser dragons, which were said to resemble gigantic serpents. An Imugi is a proto-dragon which must survive one thousand years in order to become a fully fledged dragon. In either case they are said to be large, benevolent, python-like creatures that live in water or caves, and their sighting is associated with good luck.

Personality

Tae has established a bit of a reputation for himself, renowned for his silver tongue and captivating looks, the snake knows how to charm people. However, the seemingly harmless male holds some sinister secrets. In reality he's a sadist, his predatory instincts urge him to seek out 'prey' to satisfy his twisted needs, though he always ensures the other party is consenting, he may be a big ass snake but he is considerate.

He finds himself frequently surrounded by people,

given his line of work, it's expected. But naturally Tae is a solitary creature

and doesn't really have any types of relationships with others, as a mythical being capable of immortality, human life spans are fleeting in comparison. Deep down he only hopes to be loved, but who could love a monster? He fears emotional pain and chooses to avoid anything that could subject him to such turmoil.

Primarily he is distant, but beneath his scales

lies a vulnerability that provides a whole different aspect to his personality,

though in order to get a glimpse of this would mean you are someone very significant in his life.
